Do Solar Electricity Systems require maintenance?

Solar electricity systems are relatively maintenance free as there are no moving parts. Ideally panels have an annual clean at a minimum to make sure the panels are clear of dirt build up. This is as simple as hosing the panels and using a soft bristle brush to dislodge any dirt that has built up on the panels.
